At Hydro Warehouse, we aim to process and dispatch your orders as quickly as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines our dispatch times, delivery estimates, and important information regarding shipping within New Zealand.
1. Order Processing & Dispatch
- Orders placed before 1:00 PM NZST on a business day will be dispatched the same day (subject to stock availability).
- Orders placed after 1:00 PM NZST or on weekends/public holidays will be dispatched the next business day.
- If we are unable to dispatch your order within the above timeframe (for example, due to stock issues or high order volume), we will notify you via email as soon as possible.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding New Zealand public holidays.
2. Shipping Carriers
We primarily use Post Haste and Castle Parcel. Carriers may change depending on location, package size, weight, or service availability. We will always use reputable New Zealand courier services.
3. Delivery Times
Delivery times are indicative estimates only and are not guaranteed. They begin from the date of dispatch.

| South Island – Rural | 3–4 business days |
- Urban generally refers to major cities and metropolitan areas.
- Rural deliveries may take longer due to courier schedules and remote locations.
- Deliveries to the Chatham Islands or other offshore islands will take longer and may incur additional charges.
We do not currently ship internationally.
4. Authority to Leave (ATL)
- We will provide Authority to Leave at a safe, sheltered location unless:
- The order is high value, or
- You specifically request a signature upon delivery at checkout or by contacting us.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage after the courier leaves the package at the delivery address under Authority to Leave.
5. Tracking
You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched. You can track your parcel directly through the carrier’s website.
6. Shipping Costs & Freight
- Free Freight is offered for all Urban locations in New Zealand on eligible orders.
- Free freight is not offered on some products, such as mediums and other specified items. Where free freight cannot be offered, this will be clearly noted in the product description.
- For products where free freight does not apply, we can provide a freight quote at the customer’s expense. Please contact us with your delivery address for a personalised quote.

Rural deliveries will incur a $15.00 surcharge.
7. Delays & Force Majeure
While we make every effort to meet the estimated delivery times, we are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Courier delays
- Adverse weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Strikes or industrial action
- Public holidays
- Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Please ensure your delivery address is correct and complete (including rural delivery number if applicable).
- Someone should be available to accept delivery if a signature is required.
- Inspect your goods upon receipt and report any damage or issues to us immediately.
